OpenAI has just closed the largest VC round of all time this past week (plus a massive credit line), $6.6 billion at a valuation of $157 billion post-money. It brings the total raised by the company to $17.9 billion.
OpenAI is by no means the only service and company applying massive censorship. The rules are ridiculous, are evolving and they will continue to evolve and got progressively refined.
The battle is clear: to control the massive amount of data in the net, and the message.
