When a kiss is worth more than 1,000 words

Françoise Bornet passed away on Christmas Day, leaving behind her a kiss for eternity, the one taken by photographer Robert Doisneau in 1950.

If there ever was a valuable kiss, it is Bornet and Carteaud’s: The Kiss by the Hotel de Ville

(Btw, Bornet sold the copy of the original photo given to her by Doisneau at an auction in 2005, fetching €150,000.)
